Magdeburg – A lovely state capital

Manifold activities on the Elbe

Magdeburg is often underestimated. However, the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt offers its visitors a lot. A past rich in history is revealed by a view on the impressive Magdeburg Cathedral or the Monastery Our Dear Women (Kloster Unserer lieben Frauen). The Green Citadel by Hundertwasser (Grüne Zitadelle) and the Millennium Tower (Jahrtausendturm) are examples of modernity.
